Getting started in Astrelyne: the first 10 things to do
1 October 2026 · 3 min read

Astrelyne is played directly in your browser, for free and with nothing to download. Here are the ten habits that save a lot of time in your first hours, from your first summons to managing your planet.
1. Start without an account, then create one
You can play right away as a guest: your game is saved on the game server and linked to your browser. As soon as you enjoy it, create a free account (click your avatar in the top left): your game is attached to it and you can pick it up on your phone as well as your computer. Without an account, clearing your browser data loses the game.
2. Your first three heroes already make a real team
You start with Brusvald, a tank who takes the hits in the front line, Flechmir, an archer whose rain of arrows hits every enemy, and Ophrisel, a healer who restores 30% of their HP to all your heroes. A tank, a damage dealer and a healer: that is the basis of every good team.
3. Summon with your starting gems
You start with 60 gems, enough for two summons at the Hero Altar (30 gems each). Heroes you do not own yet are three times more likely to appear, so your first summons almost always grow your team. A full team has five heroes.
4. Aim for three stars
A victory earns one to three stars: three if no hero fell, two if only one fell. As long as a planet does not have its three stars, every victory there also earns 8 gems. Replaying an easy planet to get the third star is a good way to earn gems early on.
5. Trigger ultimates at the right time
Every hit dealt or taken fills a hero's ultimate gauge. Auto mode is off by default: click the portrait of a hero whose gauge is full to launch their ultimate. Keep Ophrisel's heal for when the team is really hurt, and Flechmir's area attack for when all the enemies are there.
6. Level up with gold
Your heroes gain experience by fighting, about a quarter of a level per victory. You can also level them up with gold from their card. Early on, gold is plentiful: about one level per planet is enough to keep up with the difficulty.
7. Do the arena every day
The arena pits you against a rival team of similar power. Each victory earns 20 gems, gold and 3 star shards, and extends your streak: opponents get stronger, and so do the rewards. It is your main source of gems.
8. Build your planet right away
Every commander receives an empty planet. Build a House from the start (it pays rent in gold), then a Factory after galaxy 1 to produce orbalite. Buildings keep producing even when the game is closed, up to 8 hours of stock: remember to collect. Everything is detailed in the buildings guide.
9. Manage your energy
Each mission costs 6 energy, and energy comes back at one point per minute up to 100, even when the game is closed. When you run out, it is the right time to do the arena, upgrade your planet or level up your heroes.
10. Watch out for KO heroes
A hero who falls at the end of a battle is KO for 5 minutes: the team fights without them in the meantime. If you are in a hurry, you can heal them right away for 5 gems from their card. Before attacking a boss, check that your whole team is standing.
