1. The game

Astrelyne is an online hero game with automatic battles: you build a team, explore galaxies, take on the arena and develop your own planet. The game is published by a private individual (see the legal notice).

Your game is managed by the game server: battles, rewards, summons and buildings are calculated and recorded there.

2. Access and minimum age

The game can be played in a recent web browser with an internet connection. Connection and equipment costs are your responsibility.

You can play without an account: a "guest" game is then tied to your browser. It is lost if you clear the site's data or change device, and deleted after one year without a visit.

Creating an account is reserved for people aged 15 or over. Under 15, the consent of a parent or legal guardian is required, who accepts these terms on the child's behalf.

3. Player account

• An account is created with a valid email address, a nickname and a password. It is activated once the address is confirmed via the link sent by email.
• The guest game being played when you sign up is attached to the account; you then find it on all your devices.
• An account is personal: do not share your password. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from the game (click your avatar, then "Delete my account"). The account and the game are then permanently erased.
• An unconfirmed account is deleted after 7 days; an account with no sign-in or game played for 3 years is deleted automatically.
• With an account, your nickname, your planet, your team, your progress and the videos of your latest battles are public: visible in the Players' Galaxy and on pages of the website that anyone can view and that can be found by search engines (never your email). You can remove yourself from your account window (see the privacy policy).

4. Rules of conduct

By using Astrelyne, you agree:

• to choose a decent nickname: not insulting, hateful or obscene, and not impersonating another person or a brand;
• not to cheat: no modification of the game, its requests or its data, no automation or cheating software;
• not to exploit bugs to gain an advantage, and to report any you find to contact@astrelyne.com;
• not to create multiple accounts to rig the arena or any other ranking;
• not to disrupt the service: attacking the server, sending massive numbers of requests, trying to access other players' accounts or pages reserved for administration.

5. Sanctions

If these rules are broken, the publisher may, depending on the seriousness: rename an inappropriate nickname, cancel gains obtained irregularly, suspend or delete the account concerned, without compensation. Except in urgent or serious cases, the player is warned by email and may explain themselves at contact@astrelyne.com.

6. Game content and progress

The heroes, resources (gold, gems, orbalite, energy) and items of the game have no monetary value. They cannot be sold, exchanged for money, or transferred to another player. They are granted for use within the game only.

The game evolves: its balance (hero stats, difficulty, rewards) may be changed at any time. During major updates, games may have to be reset; players will be informed.

7. Free play and paid content

The game is currently free and contains no advertising.

Paid content or features may be offered in the future. They will then be subject to separate terms of sale, specifying in particular prices, payment methods and your right of withdrawal, which you will have to accept before any purchase. Nothing can be charged to you without your explicit consent.

8. Availability and liability

The game is provided as is. The publisher does its best to keep it available and working properly, but cannot guarantee it: the game may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or outages, and may contain errors.

The publisher is not liable for interruptions, loss of progress due to a technical problem, or indirect damage related to the use of the game, within the limits permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law guarantees you as a consumer.

The publisher may change the game, or bring it to an end, giving players advance notice as far as possible.

9. Intellectual property

The game, its name, characters, texts, graphics, sounds and code are protected and belong to the publisher, unless stated otherwise. You have a personal, non-commercial right to use the game; any copying, modification, reproduction or exploitation without permission is prohibited.

You may freely share screenshots and replay videos of your battles, provided you do not use them in a way that harms the game.

10. Personal data

The data needed for the game and the account is processed as described in the privacy policy.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may be changed, in particular to follow the evolution of the game. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page; in the event of a major change, you will be informed in the game. Continuing to play after the new terms come into force constitutes acceptance.

12. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a disagreement, first contact the publisher to find an amicable solution. You may also use a consumer mediator free of charge. Failing an agreement, the dispute will be brought before the competent French courts.
