Summoning heroes
At the Hero Altar, spend 30 gems to summon a random hero. Heroes you don't own yet are more likely to appear.
A duplicate adds a star to the hero (up to 5 ★), which boosts their stats. A duplicate of a hero already at 5 ★ gives 500 gold.
To choose who progresses, earn star shards : 3 per arena victory, 15 for the first boss defeated in each galaxy and 1 per summon. In a hero's profile, trade them for a star: 30 shards for the 2nd, then 50, 70 and 90.

Building the team
On the Heroes screen, pick up to 5 heroes. Tanks and warriors stand in the front line and take the hits; archers, mages and healers stay behind.
A balanced team (a tank, a healer, some attackers) holds up far better than a team of pure attackers.

Levelling up
Each hero earns XP by fighting (about a quarter of a level per victory). You can also level them up with gold from their profile: the cost climbs fast. Enemies grow faster than you, and each galaxy makes them a little tougher (your heroes' stars must keep up): replay planets, fight in the arena, and summon to earn stars.
The displayed power sums up the stats (HP, attack, defence, speed): compare it with the enemies' before attacking.
Exploring the galaxies
The Universe Map holds 30 galaxies spread over 6 sectors, each with its own scenery, enemies and 7 planets to conquer in order. The last planet of a galaxy is home to a boss.
Each mission costs 6 energy. Energy refills by 1 point per minute, even when the game is closed (maximum 100).

Battle
Battles are automatic (5 against 5) and last at most 3 min 20: if time runs out, it's a defeat. Past half of the timer (it turns orange), fatigue gradually reduces healing on both sides: a battle that drags on comes down to firepower. The ×1 / ×2 buttons change the speed.
Every hit dealt or taken charges a hero's ultimate (healing and shield ultimates charge half as fast). In Auto mode, it fires on its own; otherwise, click the portrait of a hero whose gauge is full to unleash it at the right moment.

Stars & rewards
A victory earns gold, gems as long as the planet isn't at 3 stars yet, and 1 to 3 stars:
- ★★★ — no hero fallen
- ★★ — only one hero fallen
- ★ — victory with more losses
The Arena
Face a rival team with power comparable to yours. Each victory earns 20 gems and gold, and extends your streak: the next opponents are stronger, and so are the rewards. A defeat sets the streak back one notch.
The arena is your main source of gems and XP: the campaign alone isn't enough to keep up with the enemies' level. Stuck on a boss? Chain arena battles, summon, and come back with extra stars.
Your planet
Every commander receives a virgin planet with 6 plots. Each battle earns orbalite, a crystal used to build on it (more on a victory, and even more against a boss).
- House: settlers pay rent in gold.
- Factory: extracts orbalite.
- Refinery: refines orbalite into gems.
Buildings keep producing while the game is closed (max stock 8 h). Remember to collect!
Technologies are earned by defeating bosses: the Factory after galaxy 1, the Shield Generator after galaxy 2, the Refinery after galaxy 4. Buildings go up to level 3, then 4 after galaxy 6 and 5 after galaxy 10. The 🏗 symbol on the map marks the galaxies that grant one.

Raids & shield
From a player's profile in the galaxy, launch a raid on their planet if it has no shield and their power is close to yours (between 70% and 150%). Your team fights theirs: if you win, you take half of what their buildings haven't collected yet.
To protect your planet: collect often, build a Shield Generator, or buy a shield with gems from your planet. A raided planet gets an 8 h shield, new players are protected for 3 days, and launching a raid drops your own shield.
Players' Galaxy
Discover the other commanders: their power, their stars, their arena streak. Open their profile to see their team, visit their planet and watch their latest battles.
With an account, you appear there too (nickname, planet, team, battles; never your email). You can remove yourself from your account window.

Replays
Your last 20 battles are kept on the game server and stored in the hub's Replays screen, with the result: watch them again exactly as they happened on any device, or download them as a video (with the name of your team and of the world). The "Watch again" button also appears at the end of each battle.
Game & sound
Your game is kept on the game server: no need to save. Without an account, you play as a guest and the game is tied to this browser. Click your avatar at the top left to create an account (email confirmation): your game is attached to it and follows you on all your devices.
The 🔊 button at the top right mutes or restores the music and sound effects.
